Welcome Students

Welcome, and thank you for your interest in joining our research community at the
Intelligent Information Management Laboratory, Department of Informatics, ITS.

A Message for Students

Research is a journey of curiosity, discipline, and steady effort. Whether you
are an undergraduate exploring a final project, or a master’s or doctoral student
shaping a longer program of study, you are encouraged to ask questions, read widely,
and build work that is both rigorous and useful.

Our laboratory focuses on business process management, machine learning,
electronic nose, and enterprise intelligent systems. Students are welcome to
propose topics aligned with these areas, or to discuss ideas at the intersection
of these fields and their own interests.

Before reaching out: please prepare a short paragraph about your
background, your interests, and what you hope to work on. A clear, specific message
makes it much easier to give you a helpful reply.

What You Can Expect

  • Guidance grounded in published, peer-reviewed scholarship.
  • Encouragement to publish and to present your work at reputable venues.
  • A collaborative environment with fellow students and researchers.
