Prof. Riyanarto Sarno Recognized Again in Stanford’s World Top 2% Scientists 2025

Prof. Drs. Ec. Ir. Riyanarto Sarno, M.Sc., Ph.D., once again receives international recognition as one of the World’s Top 2% Scientists 2025, a prestigious global ranking compiled by Stanford University and Elsevier Report.

This recognition reaffirms his consistent contributions to the global scientific community, particularly in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Image Processing. Throughout 2024 alone, his works recorded an outstanding 667 citations.

Career-Long Impact Recognition

This year marks a significant achievement for Prof. Riyanarto: in addition to being listed in the Single-Year Impact category since 2020, he is now also recognized in the Career-Long Impact category — an honor that evaluates a researcher’s sustained contributions throughout their entire academic career.

He is one of five ITS faculty members included in the 2025 list, alongside:
